- Continuing the round 2 sc in each ch. (10 st)
- * St in 1st ch. In 2nd st sc, hdc, dc, treble, picot, dc, hdc, sc. Repeat * 5x total.
Fasten off.

19th-Aug-2009 01:35 am - Crocheting a Ring
This begins my series on crochet rings. The best yarn to use for this is the glitterspun or something similar to this yarn or this yarn. Also a special size hook is preferred, somewhere in the B (2.25) range. (Yes it does feel a bit like brain surgery when you use it.)

If you are using standard size yarn, some of these patterns may require a bit of messing about on the number of stitches.

- Chain aprox 15 (depends on your yarn / finger size. Give yourself a touch more room than you need as working in the second round shrinks the ring size.)

- Sl st 1st and last ch together. Continuing the round sc in each ch til end. Sl st in last ch. Fasten off.

Finishing is just weaving in ends and using a crochet needle to sew the ring to the flower, star, whatever ring top you made.
